You surprised everyone with 1st place on the left hand and prove that you are very strong. Do you managed to restore the hand, pulled technique or think that fate was favorable?

I could not force my left hand for previous championships arose because the discomfort and pain, so I came with the preparation of "so-so" level. But recently I felt that I start to get heavy weights without discomfort, and there was a craving for battle. Immediately thereafter I made my technique and all weaknesses stronger and my hand got ​​less vulnerable. About fortune - I do not think that it was favorable, even quite the opposite: I had very strong rivals except Plamen Dimitrov. I had to take revenge for Maxim Cherskii, and, of course, Stefan Lengarov.

We encountered not at once before and I could say that he is very experienced and technically opponent.

How do you evaluate sportsmen’s shape in your category? How hard it was to fight?

Maxim Cherskii as always is very fast, I could not blink with even a fraction of a second, so my very first job was to keep his start, which I was not able to do at the European Championships in Baku. But that's not all: after I kept start, I had to hold on to his pad in the opposite direction and it was not so easy. Mger Musaelyan certainly surprised me with the right hand. His hook is strong enough. He was always stronger on the left hand, but for this championship he prepared his right very well!

Stefan Lengarov certainly was the most difficult opponent on his left arm. He has a strong top but also the biceps in hook position too. As I expected before I met him, if we twist into a hook, then I can still lose. He’s sufficiently strong and cunning opponent. With him trifled with.

Will you visit Ukrainian Cup?

No, I will not. I expect great things at the theater – now we will work on the musical "Some Like It Hot". So I will take a break from armwrestling and recover naturally keep fit.
