Anywhere at the table in any style and position this man is able to armwrestle effectively against the best pullers in the world even though he has been injured all over. ()
Most of the people that i know in armwrestling world, considers John Brzenk as the best ever but during my armwrestling career i realised that if anyone starts to reach the top for a few years then he is compared to John. In my opinion if anyone is going to be compared with John first of all this person needs to reach to the top in young ages, second of all he needs to dominate his class for decades, third of all he needs to be the best or one of the best in absolute category for decades.
These are the things that John has done during his career but also there are some other things such as pulling quality, well roundness, table intelligence and courage to pull anyone and anywhere in the world in any format and condition. John was the best in his weight class for about 30 years by facing top pullers such as Johnny Walker, Ron Bath, Taras Ivakin, Devon Larratt (in same weight), Marcio Barbosa and many others to count even though he had some losses time to time. He has won the top events in 80s (Over the Top- Petaluma), in 90s (Yukon Jack, Golden Bear, Petaluma), in 2000s (Nemiroff World Cup, Vegas Events, Harley Pulls) and he still wins great events in 2010s such as UAL event where he defeated Michael Todd. Today at his 50 he is stil one of the best in his class and even in the overall category.
John has never Been someone who sits in his back yard and wait for people to run after him even when he was the Absolute best in the world.
Instead he went Russia to face Zaur, Alan and many other eastern giants, He went Japan to face powerful Kanai, he went to Poland to face all the best pullers from the Europe For many years. Once he even could not stop himself and tried to make 86kg just to get the 3. different PAL title belt but Rustam said that he was injured and the match was cancelled. So once we talk about John we should mention his courage and boundless competetion spirit. He always challenged his own Self. I have been pulling for more than two decades in high level international events and i have never Seen as impressive & unique armwrestler as John. After some years you look at the puller and you can Judge the quality of the puller. He armwrestles as good as a dolphin swims, like an eagle flies, like a lion fights. That quality is something to see but not to be explained enough.
Anywhere at the table in any style and position this man is able to armwrestle effectively against the best pullers in the world even though he has been injured all over. Whenever i think of the pullers that he beaten it shows his greatness as well. Richard Lupkes, Gary Goodridge, Zaur, Pushkar, Ferit, Bagent, Cyplenkov, Chaffee, Kanai, Rustam, Taras, Semerenko, Dean , Walker, Bath, Cadorette, Randall, Michael Todd, Larratt, Erekle, Javahadze, Genady, Girdner, Hutchings And many many more to count. I describe John Brzenk as Tyson describes Muhammad Ali, “Every head must bow, every tongue must confess that John is the greatest armwrestler that GOD has Ever created”.
