We know the strength parameters of the top armwrestler! ()
Right before Zloty Tur we have used the Mazurenko ARM machine to measure Alexey Voevoda. The strength and stamina of the Russian armwrestler was measured in four exercises:
- finger strength and stamina, by measuring the angle between fingers and palm. ;
- strength and stamina in the angle between forearm and arm (biceps hammer);
- hook pull;
- strength and stamina of wrist, with immobilized forearm.
See his scores below:
Voevoda:
Forearm: 43cm
Biceps: 50cm
Weight: 113kg
Bresnan:
Forearm: 43cm
Biceps: 47cm
Weight: 135kg
Voevoda:
Fingers:
1 attempt: 44kg
2 attempt: 38kg
3 attempt: 42kg
average 41,33kg
70% value: 29kg
Finger stamina: 23 seconds
Hammer:
1. 65kg
2. 71kg
3. 69kg
average: 68kg
70% to 48kg
Hammer stamina: 7,86 sec
Wrist:
1 attempt: 105kg
2 attempt: 95kg
average: 100kg
stamina: 13 sec
In December we will measure also Tim Bresnan, who will be fighting Voevoda in January in an armfight. Presently it is impossible to measure him, as the test itself is so energy-draining that it would make it impossible for him to fight in Zloty Tur. Both the fighter's scores will be compared, to see who's got better chances in Armrfight #45. The fight itself will show who's really the best. It has to be said that the Mazurenko ARM tests are exact enough that there is a very small margin of error.
