There were way too many fouls but the match was very exciting as we saw breath cutting wars and the younger athlete won by having better endurance as athletes's fresh strength looked equal. ()
Armen Chapukyan ve Christian Binnie is the first match of the night and i am expecting some hook matches. Normally i would say that Christian would win this Vendetta easily but the things may be different now esspecially after Armen beat Dimitry Trubin at 2015 Zloty Tur event.
Leonard called the pullers to the table for the first round and Christian still is my favorite to win this match. Wow what a war! Armen hit and Christian caught, it was a tough bicep to bicep war and Christian was winning till Armen went below the table straighten his arm and toproll Christian's wrist. Then Armen got an elbow foul. While i was waiting another war Armen started before the "go" came on ref's grip to receive his second foul.
It is 1-0 for Christian and now is second round starts. To me athletes looked very close in power but in supermatches endurance is an important factor.Armen tried to toproll Christian but Christian caught him in hook, then Armen switched to hook and controlled Christian's pronator to put his opponent into bad position where Christian got an elbow foul.On re-start Christian again caught Armen in hook and this time he was in better position but got another elbow foul and lose the round.
Now it is 1-1 and third round is about to start. They still look equally strong and endurance has not started to play role yet. This time Armen went for a direct hook and while they were at the middle of the table Christian's elbow was lifted and he got another elbow foul.At re-start the same thing happenned and Christian got another elbow foul to lose the round and now it is 2-1 for Armen.
Fourth round is about to start and we did not see any pin till now, it is a bicep war Vendetta with fouls so far. At the set up Armen sets himself for a toproll and Christian seems to be a bit tired already.
Esspecially his hand seemed tired to handle Armen's back pressure and he choosed to go to ref's grip by not getting a grip. An incredible hook match happenned and as i thought Christian's endurance seemed to be not enough to catch up with Armen's and Armen ended the bicep war with a shoulder pressure to win the round 4 to bring the score to 3-1.
Fifth round is about to start and i expect an easier win for Armen as Christian looked tired even in his own game which is hook.Christian did a smart move and slipped for strap. He may try an outside move. Leonard Harkless put the strap on and yes the old wolf went for an outside move succesfully to cause his opponent to receive an elbow foul. Both athlete lost the shoulder-hand angle but Christian seemed closer to win before the foul. Armen started early and got a warning. This time Christian got an elbow foul while he was in bad position as Armen pulled smarter and instead of a back pressure war his moved side way to control Christian's back pressure.
It is the 4. start of round 5 now, Christian dropped his front wrist down and hit to the pin pad with his pronator to take Armen's wrist. Armen was in losing position but both athletes lost their wrist control. Armen went a bit below the table to not to lose but got 2. foul in losing position. It was a war and Christian pulled amazingly while i thought that he was over. Now it is 3-2 for Armen and athletes are by the table for the 6. and last round.
This time Armen grabbed Christian low to unable him to slip, Christian felt himself going into the match but lost the round with a quick pin.
There were way too many fouls but the match was very exciting as we saw breath cutting wars and the younger athlete won by having better endurance as athletes's fresh strength looked equal.
The score is Armen Chapukyan 4 Christian Binnie 2!
