A few words from Igor Mazurenko - if you want to be invited for Vendetta - read this!
The Vendetta Armfight kind of events are gaining popularity. So I present here a kind of PAL "road-map" , which will assist competitors and organizers in our next tournaments.
The main criterion for selection of fighters for upcoming Vendetta events is the Professionals' World Cup "ZlotyTur", which will take place in Poland.

If a competitor, for any reason, is not able to start in the "Zloty Tur" or will not take the first (1-4) places - they still have one chance left. In the United States - in the Professionals' World Cup. These two events are the only qualifiers, the only criterion that can give you an invitation to participate in the Vendetta in Vegas.

In this way, we have a real system of qualification instead of chaos.
In 2013, I met with one of well-known football sponsors. He presented a proposal for cooperation. He believed that every sport needs a league, a series of consecutive events on a grand scale (with sponsors) and a significant presence in the media.

It was then decided (well known to our readers) to form the Top-16, which we could not realize. Anyway ... perhaps it's better that it happened this way...

There were two reasons. We counted all the expenses and it turned out that awards, contracts, the organization - it all amounted to more than three million dollars. A sum serious even in some Olympic disciplines.

 We know that arm wrestling is not a widely recognized sport - so this investment would not be logical. However, at the request of the sponsor, I was still working on the plan. It was important to make sure that the sponsors provide the necessary sum. But - unfortunately - the potential sponsors ran into some problems. This was a problem because we already started to promote the event a little in the media.

There were a lot of questions, we started choosing the sixteen competitors. There was legal trouble, because many have already signed contracts with UAL. And as a result, the tournament did not take place.

And choosing sixteen competitors on the same level was virtually impossible.
We came to the conclusion that we need top eight athletes. If this scheme will work in the OPEN category (unlimited class) we do the same in the categories: +105; 105; 95; 86;70; 63 kg.
Now, the eight selected participants will start in three tournaments on the right and left arm. It will be six rounds, four pairs of wrestlers. Everything will take place in Las Vegas.

Those who are not included in the TOP-8 - the main card, will fights as support - the fighters who are interesting for the fans and for us. They will not fight within the TOP-8 but in Armfight.
This is obviously just a scheme. If it comes to fruition - if it turns out to be interesting to fighters and supporters, it will continue. Then the contestants will have an easier job, because the criteria to qualify for important fights will be clear.
