In the first part of an interview with Denis Tsyplenkov told us about some reasons that made him to miss Professional World Zloty Tur in 2016. Frankly, it was shocking news, as all fans of armwrestling awaited his return at this tournament. Now Denis shared his thoughts about the system of selection of participants for Vendetta armfights that PAL is going to implement this year. This system is based on participation in Zloty Tur competitions for the selection of 8 strongest athletes. This year the system will be tested in the open category.

"Igor Mazurenko invented a system of selection of participants for Vendetta. Two qualifying tournaments will help to know 4 participants of armfights. It is cool, but as I have repeatedly said, a tournament is a lottery and a draw could make a lot of nonsense. If you are still selected to participate, then you have at least 3 armfights. Am I ready for it? I can not say. I have no time to be prepared all the year. Another thing is if sport would provide me with finance. So I am happy with that I'm a session participant. Top-8 is a serious thing, and you should leave everything for it.

In general I am ready to take part in any selection, as long as that would be beneficial for me.

First of all, I worry about work, because I have to say goodbye to it in case of continuous participation in tournaments.

I can’t say, is Top-8 a correct way. Once again I want to repeat that the tournament is a lottery and if there will be four top sportsmen, then it could happen two of them may be out. Anyway, we have well-known athletes, who must be participants of Vendetta. And if they have 2-3 defeats, they should qualify again. And in this case, we should give a chance to compete and qualify new heroes, not four this time but two of them. It seems to me, that 8 permanent members are not enough for Vendetta.

The selection in top will be held only in open class, so it turns out that athletes will be a little self-pity in their classes, trying to keep strength. I remember the World Cup, where we had a tough fight with Dave Chaffey in our class. Then we left all our forces. I did not take part in open and Dave took the last place in it. So it’s necessary to decide, who in such cases would be selected in the top four for armfights and what Andrey Pushkar would make with them!

Top-8 should be not a competition for the luckiest but for the strongest".
