"The first attempts to launch betting system we undertook in cooperation with the company "PariMatch", – says the PAL president Igor Mazurenko. – In the end, it was not quite comfortable. First, a small coating of this company – only four countries. Secondly, the firm has worked only with real money, so in order to place a bet, it was necessary to look for the cashier. In addition to standard betting about the winner, the company offered some sorts of different rules like "first foul" and the like, it is incomprehensible and useless things for armwrestling. In 2007, work with "PariMatch" stopped due to the suspicion of match-fixing organization".

Now back of betting is very important.

"We are actively working on the introduction of betting system in armwrestling. For this, we clearly work out the rules to be able to determine the winner. In addition, we want to use armfight’s six rounds. Thanks to this number of rounds you can bet on the victory of one or the other competitor, as well as a draw".

Despite the clarity of arrayed system, threat of match-fixing still does not disappear. But to destroy a desire to hold such unfair things to the audience, there is easy way out – a good fee for participation in tournaments.

For all, PAL is actively working on acceptance armwrestling for Atletic Comission in the United States – namely, the state of Nevada:

"To correct work of betting in the United States armwrestling must be adopted by Atletic Comission, the body that deals with sport. This commission has additional authority – Sanctioning Body, which has the right to recognize a tournament as official. It's simple – if the competition is not recognized, it can not be connected to the tote. In the Sanctioning Body may include 5-6 people, for example, representatives of the Commission, PAL, referee", – Mazurenko said.

Sanctioning body’s work is simple. If a tournament is abuse, then it is recognized.

"It turns out a kind of vicious circle: the more clearly the rules of the tournament are defined, the easier it is to accept, and thus enable athletes to bet. If rates are included, the audience expect a spectacular fight. However, we do not forget that the rules must be clear".

Well, except for the good prize money, what can sanctioning body give to athletes? First, it is official title. Then the athlete who got the title for the PAL version can qualify for the US green card as Extraordinary, that means more competition and opportunity, if desired, to change their place of residence.

Work on the system is nearing completion. It is possible that its implementation will finish soon and the nearest time we will be able to try it out on the next professional competitions in the United States.
