Georgian Armwrestling: For the beginning, let us touch the European Championship, where you won both hands. Will the same result repeat at Worlds this year?

Levan Saginashvili: I was in good shape at the Europeans, I was determined to win and I had to win! I will repeat the same result, I have worked very hard for the whole summer.

G.A.: How do you prepare for the Worlds? What is your shape now?

L.S.

: I didn’t do a lot in the late August, I made a little pause. I am currently exercising intensively and I think in October I will be in the better shape then at Europeans, I am in a much better shape today, I work restlessly.

G.A.: What is your daily schedule? Do you have time to relax?

L.S.: I have a random schedule now. 2 days ago, for example, at 2 o'clock in the night, I have had a lot of work. I am trying to rest at least 10 hours a day.

G.A.: What gives you the motivation in life to develop personally and professionally?

L.S.: My fans, my family, and also those people who do not support me.

G.A.: As we know, after the World Cup,  in about a month, a very important duel with Dmitry Trubin is scheduled. What do you think about your rehabilitation after the Worlds?

L.S.: Yes, I have very little time, I will try not only to restore but to improve my shape. From October 20 to November 16, I have time to make sure that I will come to "Vendetta All Stars" in Rumia, Poland in the best shape ever.

G.A.: How do you imagine yourself after 10 years and if you did not do armwrestling, what would your life be like?

L.S.: After 10 years, if everything goes as I plan, I see myself  as an unconditional leader in this sport. Anyway I hope it will not take 10 years. I can not imagine my life without arm wrestling. 

I think life wouldn’t be interesting without it, because I do not think that I could find such a big motivation and love in any other activity. I am glad that I have found the work that makes me happy.
