On Sunday the 20th of September the meeting with World and European Champions: Lubomir Jagnesak from Slovakia and Śnieżana i Ruslan Babayev from Ukraine in order to acquaint the interested people with the trainings and technical secrets took place in the MCKiS Tytan Jaworzno Club. There were not keen people missing. Polish competitors from all over the country came to Jaworzno to get to know the secrets of armwrestling international champions. There were not missing Małgorzata Ostrowska from Strzegom or local competitors: Nikola Ipnar, Małgorzata Mielczarek i Bożena Cichopek among women. Among men there were: Robert Leszko from Wałbrzych, Tomasz Sypniewski from Warsaw, Michał Ożga from Strzegom, Dariusz Muszczak from Myszków, Lucjan Fudała from Jaworzno, Mariusz Grochowski from Sosnowiec (the club’s trainer) and many other talented and strong competitors. All in all almost 45 Polish competitors visited the club in Jaworzno.
There were 4 tables and a group of men in the main room of the MCKiS Tytan Jaworzno club. In the second room there were Śniezana and other competitors.
“Earlier we had the opportunity to host only Lubomir. This time also the Babayev siblings from Ukraine presented their skills. I hope that these kinds of meetings will increase the sports level of Polish competitors, and mainly the level of large numbers of gathered hosts so the competitors of MCKiS Tytan Jaworzno club” – the direct participant Tomasz Szewczyk told the redaction of Armpower.
It is worth to add that on previous day Ruslan and Lubomir had the fight of Vendetta cycle for right hand in Namestowo in Slovakia. The rivalry finished with the result of 3:2 for Ruslan. However both of the men’s shoulders were quite tired but they willingly passed their knowledge to the other competitors.
“The ones who were no present should regret. I hope the ones were present are satisfied” – said Tomasz Szewczyk after the meeting.
We hope for more such meetings in our country.
