Well as I stated previously I have the toughest matches with John, he is an extremely tough opponent, and a very nice person as well, which makes for a great guy. I am looking forward to pulling with him again... | ||||
Toughest match | ||||
Well I would say that I have had a few, but the ones that always come to mind are 2 of them. First against Cleve Dean in 1995 at the Yukon Worlds for 2nd place, without exaggeration I would say that the match lasted about 3 minutes, at which time I ended up getting a cramp in my leg, not my arm and lost all of the stamina I had left, and lost the match. The next would be the match with John for the Harley Davidson, were there was so much on the line, and I just couldn't adapt to change the style, in order to win the match. Oh well I guarentee that the results will be different the next time... | ||||
Best training advice | ||||
Well I would say that the best thing to do, in order to become a better armwrestler would be to get a lot of table time in, and then to do alot of pull ups, with negative resistance, meaning hold yourself at a 90 degree angle for as long of a time as possible, and then also doing push ups with your hands together forming a diamon shape, going all the way down to the floor touching your nose to the middle of your hands and coming back up... | ||||
