ArmFight #40
13.01.2012 - USA, Las Vegas
Arsen Liliev RUS vs Richard Lupkes USA
Stoyan Golemanov BUL vs Todd Hutchings USA
Khazimurat Zoloev RUS vs Jerry Cadorette USA
Andrey Pushkar UKR vs Michael Todd USA
Speaking of the first three duels, it must be admitted that their results will entirely depend on how seriously the European armwrestlers would treat their American opponents. The Europeans have the advantage and if Arsen, Stoyan and Khadzhimurat take the preparations for the incoming armfight seriously, they can win. The most important for them is not to be too sure of the victory.
What I have said also refers to Andrej Pushkar. Strength and what’s the most important, speed are in favour of him. So, if the Ukrainian champion presents the same form in the US, that he had at the last Nemiroff, Michael Todd will not have a dog’s chance. I would like to emphasize again that in this confrontation, Europe is the favourite, but we have already seen the consequences of underestimating the opponent, even in case of undefeated champions. One of the examples is Lenox Lewis’s failure with Hasim Rahman.
So, Europe, keep training without rest, and victory in Las Vegas will be yours!
