Artem replied quickly in a comment that he expected to see Rustam in a lighter -86 kg class.

Rustam makes an impression of being mightier from year to year. However they are pure muscles “placed” according to our sports demands, just where it should be placed. See his huge back muscles and his shoulder gridle!

We’ve decided to see what the interested one – Rustam thinks of it. The champion is now preparing to a trip to Brazilian championships – he will be fighting of both arms in -85 kg class. I asked him how his preparations were going:

Rustam, as usually, short and honestly answered that okay.

What do you think of your chances?

Rustam: Honestly… there’s always some.

(I like to talk this way, a great issue is developing) Rustam, what class will you be fighting at the NEMIROFF WORLD CUP 2012?

Rustam: In Poland I’ll be performing in 86 kg class.

Listen, Artem Taynov announced his participation in -95 kg left arm class. He says, he wants to win. What do you think of it?

Rustam: If he’s well prepared, he could win.

Won’t Liliev interrupt him?

Rustam: I expect Liliev to take part in +95 kg class.

What’s your attitude to comments on our forum?

Rustam: They want to write so they do. It would be boring without it. A rivalry rises excitement.

You have to fight and win! And comments are rather subjective.

What do you expect of a traditional battle Denis vs Andrey?

Rustam: Denis and Andrey will show what they always do…

Do you think any breakthrough in an equally traditional „war” of eastern and western Armwrestling will occur?

Rustam: The American and Canadian players excluding John Brzenk, can’t do much in a elimination tournament. It’s not ARMFIGHT, the elimination tournament is more familiar to European players.

Rustam, win in Brazil and come to foul up in Warsaw, fans and wainting!

Let’s remind a photo taken at the World Cup 2009, where Rustam was close to win the open class. The cup-final with John Brzenk on the right arm went down on history of our sport!

Rustam won his (-86 kg) class on the left and right arm then. In the open right arm class he was second, just behind John who also beat all his opponents in -95 kg left and right arm class.
