The year of 2012 will be remembered by me personally as the year of my struggle to regain competitive strength after the shoulder surgery. ()
Hello John!
On behalf of the Polish fans I'd like to wish you a merry Christmas. We wish you and your family as well as your fellow arm wrestlers a healthy, fruitful and prosperous New Year full of success. John, as a competitor, how do you judge the passing year? Have you fully recovered from the injury?
2012 was a memorable year for Armwrestling with a LOT of BIG first time events. The year of 2012 will be remembered by me personally as the year of my struggle to regain competitive strength after the shoulder surgery. It was a year where things progressed slowly, but I had a great time testing the arm at different stages of the healing process. No, I am not completely healed. But it is slowly getting stronger, and I feel I am moving in a positive direction.
How do you judge the American Armwrestling stage in 2012? Have there appeared any new promising competitors among armwrestlers from the North America? Or, as Engin Terzi wrote, can you only count on older gentlemen, the veterans?
North America Armwrestling is alive and well and there are more clubs scattered throughout the country than ever before. There are many high level armwrestlers out there training in their remote areas just waiting for the opportunity to show their progression. With the right opportunity North American Armwrestlers will continue to surprise the world with their ability!
What is your opinion about the 2012 season in professional Armwrestling?
There are a few events that stand out for 2012 year. The PAL Vendetta series held in Las Vegas. The Fantastic 8 men event held in Bulgaria. And of course the 2012 Nemiroff, which is always the highlight of years end. And let's not forget about the New First annual A1 event in Russia. The most noticeable thing for me this year is the depth of talent. Armwrestling in my opinion is becoming more and more competitive with a much bigger group of talented competitors. It can only get better!
John, best regards from Gdynia, Warsaw, from Poland!
Thank you and all the best from USA!
