The European Championships, what can I say? Another good job by the referees? NO, this was much better than just good, we had 2 extra Master referees from outside Europe: Hideki Ohmura head referee for Japan and Mauro Páscoa head referee for South America and both on the WAF referee panel.

And they both said it was “WORLD CLASS REFEREEING”

That sums it up very well “WORLD CLASS REFEREEING” congratulations to you all, and yes I do expect it from you every year.

Our Chairman Assen Hadjitodorov was also very happy and told me all the team captains he had spoken to where happy to, so all in all a very good weeks work from our referees, Congratulations I am proud of you all.

And Congratulations to Sinan Ibis from Turkey who did a marvellous job to come out on top and win Best Referee against such strong competition.
