A-1 tournament, Mid Atlantic Classic in Maryland, Nemiroff World Cup ant the World Cup in Gdynia. These are the most important events of the year 2013 for these two armwrestlers. ()
For Doug Allen, American armwrestler, the most important event was the A-1 tournament and the Mid Atlantic Classic in Maryland.
I won 2000 dollars in Maryland – says Doug. He is now working on his style and technique.
I have a tough road ahead of me, with TOP16 – says Doug. I have to work the hardest ever to be able to face the guys that are waiting for me there. I need a lot of good health, to show the best of myself and win the most I can.
For Dawid Bartosiewicz this was the most proud and happy year.
I got back to armwrestling after 1,5 years’ break, and won the Polish Championship – says Dawid.
I knew this wasn’t the end of hard training, because I still had the World Championship ahead of me. I’ve won vice-champion there. I also took 1st place in the Orawa Armwrestling Challenge, a very important achievement for me. But the best by far was the World Championship. My failure at the Nemiroff got me down a little, but it hasn’t slowed me down. And the 1st place in the Polish Cup in my category, and the 3rd in the OPEN has lifted my spirits greatly.
Dawid is now recharging his batteries for the new year. – We will soon meet again in tournament, and I hope 2014 wil be even better than the last year!
