Vendetta in Vegas – Armfight #43 is still a fresh memory. How would you rate the Prudnyk – Bresnan fight? What do you think kept Gene from winning?

Actually it was a very good fight, the only matching that made me excited. Initially I thought Gene would have his work cut out for him, although many thought he would win for sure. Americans always show a good fight, as demonstrated at Vendetta # 41 and #42. As for Gene, I can say that after fighting Spartak he wanted to drop the Vendetta fight, because of his shoulder, but he took a gamble. Bresnan is very strong, people underestimate him. Just look at Vendetta 42: he beat Pushkar once. In summation, it was a good armfight, but I’d like to see Gene perform without injury.

Please comment on Andrey Pushkar. He left Lupkes no chance.

Andrey is in top form, without a doubt, and Richard is not on his level. I do not wish to slight Richard, I respect him as a man and a fighter. He deserves his place in the elite, but Andrey is three times stronger, he had no chance. Pushkar is a great fighter, he keeps pushing on and never lets go.

This year the Worlds will be followed by another important event – Zloty Tur Cup. Will you participate?

I always do, with support from Igor and FitMax – the supplement manufacturer. I don’t know about my shape, my calendar is full. First the Worlds and maybe an armfight, then the Professionals’ World Cup, then a new year’s start and “Elista” Cup. I just hope it all goes without any injuries.
