After watching Pushkar at 2014&15 A1 >>>

After watching Pushkar at 2014&15 A1 # Armwrestling # Armpower.net

"I will continue to follow Pushkar closely as he just jumped up to the next level at his 30". ()

I always believed that the super heavyweights' quality is much lower than the lighter weight classes' pullers. Usually the heavyweights are slower, p4p weaker, less technical and less intelligent compared to the lighter pullers but of course there have been a few exceptions such as Voevoda, Goodridge and a few others.

In the last A1 event i realised that Pushkar is becoming one of those guys about p4p strength level. He always had a great start but from what i saw he became much stronger compared to the his long amateur career. Actually he seemed to be very strong in 2014 A1 as well but because of Chaffee vs Denis wars we were not able to judge Pushkar's level except his matches against Brzenk.

I was told that Chaffee experienced a wrist injury before he went to the A1 and i clearly saw that he did not have the wrist strength that he had before but in my honest opinion Pushkar would have beat a Dave with or without any injury that Dave has. Of course i may be wrong but he just seemed to be too strong. I mean the way that he beat Ferit who is in a great form enough to destroy Zhokh, and the way that he beat Brzenk showed that he was too much.

Michael Todd and Denis Cyplenkov would be tweo opponents that Pushkar should prove himself against since he has losses to these two athletes in fresh meetings. Pushkar beat Denis last year at A1 but it was after Denis pulled near 2 minutes against Dave in a best of 5 supermatch format.

If Pushkar would pull these two powerful athletes in the forms that we remember them then my money would be on Pushkar as his wrist seems powerful enough to control the pronator strength of Michael and Denis.

After watching Pushkar at 2014&15 A1 i can comfortablily say that he deserves to be ranked no 1 in the world. His technical abilities and table intelligence are not high leveled but his explosiveness and strength level was probably the best i have ever seen. Pushkar may be the strongest superheavyweight that has ever lived. But he needs to prove this esspecially against a fresh Denis and Michael Todd. When i say that his technical ability is not high leveled i mean he does not know much to do once the match stops but his beginning position quality and the side hit coordination is as good as anyone who is considered the best at it. He squeezes his opponents' thumb and apply a powerful back pressure to get the hitting advantage then apply an incredible side hit with a powerful wrist curl.

I will continue to follow Pushkar closely as he just jumped up to the next level at his 30.
