At the last Asian Championship in Tashkent Asian Armwrestling Federation congress chose Ahmed Aliyev, representative of Kazakhstan, as Secretary General of the Federation. Ahmed was the only candidate who has issued his documents appropriately. Although at the time of the congress representatives of other federations have tried to compete with him, but their candidacies were rejected because they did not meet the requirements. "Work at the Asian federation was not built properly, especially in terms of documentation, – says Ahmed Aliyev. – Now we have to perform a huge amount of work. We need to collect necessary documents from each member country: a certificate of federation registration as a legal entity,and accreditation as confirmation that the National Ministry, which is engaged in the affairs of the sport, recognizes this federation. We understand that in some countries accreditation documents could be a problem, so we will focus on registration. Otherwise, the federation without registration are not allowed to vote at congresses. Take part in competitions - please, but do not vote. We also need to fix the statute, stamps and solve internal problems. "

Our main plans are to make the Asian federation as an integral model, which will represent common interests of the Asian countries.

"There are some issues, such as Iran, where there is a difficult situation with the interaction of president of federation, his assistant and athletes, and we must help to understand this. We will need to collect all to find out how things really are. Also Japan: the old president of a federation absolutely does not take part in the life of the national nor in the life of the Asian Federation. However, he does not agree to allow the work of Hideki Ohmura, a man, whose work for armwrestling is difficult to overestimate, – says Ahmed. – We need to solve these problems, because the federation doesn’t care about with whom to work personally, the main thing is this man really carry out his duties".

Under the initiative of Ahmed Aliyev Federation has established channels of communication to work together to plan and report on activities. They want to create the official website of the federation to interact with the public.

According to Ahmed, it is necessary to work thoroughly with schedule of competition. According to his personal initiative Asian Cup was held three times, and now this competition will be held regularly. Several international tournaments are in plans too. The next Asian Championship is decided to hold in Kyrgyzstan.

"Probably the most serious prospect – to get into the Asian Games, – says Ahmed. – But it will be impossible as long as we do not fulfill the first point. It is possible that members of the committee of the Asian Games will bask us to show the documents, but we have no any. Therefore, the documents are first and then all the rest ".
