The winner of the "Zloty Tur" Professional Armwrestling World Cup 2017 in the category of 63 kg Imeda Tchincharauli gave an interview to the "Georgian Armwrestling" Facebook community, in which he shared his plans for the World Cup 2018 . ()

Imeda, as we know, you pulled in the 63 kg weight class and won two gold medals at the last year's "Zloty Tur” Professional Armwrestling World Cup. Are you going to take part in the Cup this year?

I really want to participate in this tournament, but in a new weight category. I performed in the category of 63 kilograms and, to tell you the truth, the victory there was quite simple to me. Now I would like to move forward and develop and I now have a very big motivation to perform in the 70 kg category. Of course, this will require more work and effort, and I think that for this I have to maintain an appropriate sports shape in the future.

What do you think about this tournament in general?

"Zloty Tur" is a well-organized tournament, which if visited once, make you want to take part in it again and again!

Is there any difference between preparation for the Worlds, Europeans and preparation for the Professional World Cup? Do you have a special training program?

There is such a short break between the World Championship and the “Zloty Tur” that I do not have time for special preparation. Last year I reached the peak of my shape before the Worlds.

Who, in your opinion, is your most difficult competitor?

The strongest athletes at the World Cup were athletes from Kazakhstan. Both finals were very easy for me, and in both finals I fought with Kazakh athletes. I do not see anyone who would be especially difficult for me. A lot will change with weight gain, but new difficulties mean more  motivation for me, and I'm going to use it to achieve my goals.
