In May 2020, the Progressive Studies University, Thessaloniki, Greece, begins a distance course for instructors in various sports, including armwrestling. Igor Mazurenko was appointed head of the armwrestling department of the university.

The rector of the Progressive Studies University decided to take a chance and open a training course for trainers in armwrestling. Those who want to gain deep knowledge in weight lifting will also prepare with them. The President of IPF Powerlifting Federation, Gaston Parage, also attended the graduation ceremony. He will be engaged in the development of powerlifting problems at the university.

Also, powerlifting specialists among athletes with mental disabilities will work here.

Among the participants there were representatives of alternative medicine, associated primarily with recovery and rehabilitation.

All these specialists will train and certify trainers in various areas.

The course runs from May to October. A five-day training course will be held in Rhodes, Greece in October. They will learn various technical methods, and then - test their knowledge in the field of biochemistry and biomechanics, the basics of armwrestling skills. Фt the end of the course, participants will receive university diplomas.
