The tournaments of the Kyiv Open Cup series were held with great success, noise and a large number of participants. In 2020, we faced different situations: we are forced to limit the number of participants, we must fulfill all quarantine requirements and norms, put on protective masks, use an antiseptic ... We have learned to live in a new way. It would seem that all this can affect the general mood, but no! 50 participants, 50 soldiers of the Professional League of Armwrestling of Ukraine were able to show an incredible level of wrestling, colorful fights and crazy emotions!

Despite the quarantine, the training of athletes, sports uniforms made me happy. I am especially delighted with the atmosphere of the tournament!

With each tournament I am more and more convinced that I am moving in the right direction.

Why? Because new faces appear in the gym, many young and promising athletes come to arm wrestling, more and more children are interested in our discipline.

The first armfight among juniors U-12 became a phenomenon of the event. Nikolay Mazurenko met with Anton Koziratsky, Poland vs. Ukraine! Nikolay flew to Kyiv, accompanied by his mother and sister, they met many obstacles: they passed the Covid test, adhered to self-isolation ... I am grateful to Anna, in spite of everything, she was able to personally support the tournament. It is impossible to convey in words what was happening in the hall! Representatives of the adult professional armwrestling sank into shock when they saw the real opposition of the kids.

The guys have a great sporting future! Every one of us has a great sporting future! We are a huge family that is growing every day! I thank everyone who took part in organizing and conducting the event! I wish you all good health!
