You made some noise on a Zloty Tur. What are your impressions?

The organization of the championship was held, as always, at a very high level.

I do not think that I was a star of the competitions. If I won Khadzhimurat Zoloev in the finals on the right, then I could say that I was. But in the future I will try very hard to make it happen.

Who of armwrestlers, except Zoloev, could you admit in your weight class?

My rivals were very prepared. Especially I can mention my weight class sportsman from Russia Salavat Kadyrov on the left hand and the sportsman from Georgia Giorgi Tvaliashvili on right hand. They are very strong.

What would you have corrected in your fights?

Usually I fight with a top roll. But now I started to intensively develop a hook. I think very soon in my arsenal and you will see this technique.

Who do you think is the real favorite for this Zloty Tur?

At the last World Cup Dmitry Trubin was really amazing. I think Andrey Pushkar has become a favorite on the left and Trubin is on the right hand.

If the referee did not stop the fight, and if Dima did no fouls, he would won Andrey Pushkar on right hand.

I know Dima Trubin for many years. He and his family live with armwrestling. He studied with a strong coach Ahmed Aliyev. And he was hungry for victory, since there was no 2 years. That is why he is the favorite of the tournament on right hand.

Whose fights do you like the most?

I really liked a work of Dmitry Silaev from Russia. He is a very talented wrestler. Hopefully in the near future he will become one of the tops in the world. Also I can admit my friend Magzhan Shamiev, who once won Oleg Zhokh. I think that armfight between them would be interesting to fans.

Everyone is wondering how Kazakhs are struggling. You are not very large, but show amazing results. What's the secret?

In our club “Shardara armsport” we held a lot of competitions with good prizes. These championships are held twice a month. We train not very much, but often pull – both in competitions, so in training. I think it is in our advantage.
