To Katowice to check facilities for the European Championship came President of the European Armwrestling Federation Assen Hadzhitodorov and General Secretary Mircea Simionescu-Simicel.

In the check-list were such facilities as hotels (their level and quantity), the place of the championship, facilities for weighing, Congress, technical meetings and doping control.

Participants of the European Championship will be accommodated in five hotels of different levels from one to four stars. But you shouldn’t worry about accommodation in one-star hotel, because the level of security and comfort is very high. Also comission discussed catering.

All hotels are located in the immediate location of the venue of the competition, the complex is situated in the center of the city.

The venue also complies with all federation requirements, but also Paralympic Committee. The broadcasting crew noted the very high level of the project and the organization.

Championship will be held on six tables, each table is equipped with a screen and graphics.

Holding Championship in Katowice also has a number of advantages in terms of transfer: the city has an international airport, infrastructure and excellent connections to neighboring countries.

Due to the fact that the championship in armwrestling among people with disabilities arrive large number of athletes, the organizers are going to take about 900 participants. In this case, the championship will be a record on the scale and composition.

So, the European Championships will be held from 13 to 21 May 2017:

13-15 May - the days of the registration and weighing;

May 16 - the fight juniors and veterans on the left hand,

17 May - wrestling juniors and veterans on the right hand,

May 18 - European Championship for the disabled on the right and left hand,

19 May - a struggle among adults on the left hand,

May 20 - fighting among adults on the left hand,

May 21 -  teams departure.
