On 19^th and 20^th January 2018, Malaysia has organized international championship by the name of “3^rd Premier 101 International Charity Armwrestling Championship 2018”. The concept of this tournament is to promote charity while organizing a sports event.

Participation from more than 18 countries and total number of armwrestlers are 237.

The idea of this tournament came from the organizing chairman of the tournament Mr. Stephen Kee after previously succesfull 1^st and 2^nd tournament. Collaborating with this competition are Sarawak Armwrestling Association and Malaysia Armwrestling Association lead by mr Zil Fadli, Master Referee of WAF.

We have also invited the multiple WAL world champion Devon Larratt as special honorable guest to encourage foreigner to attend this competition and also he has run a seminar attended by 30 participants. Throughout the competition days, he did lots of promotion and help this competition reached to worldwide.

For this competition, we have 8 categories altogether: Women’s Open, Left Hand Men’s Open 80kg, Left Hand Men’s Open +80kg, Amateur Men 75kg, Amateur men +75kg, Right Hand Pro 75kg, Right Hand Pro 85kg, Right Hand Pro +85kg.

The 1^st prizes for men’s pro is USD 1200.

Total cash prize is 8200 USD.

In plans - to organize bigger championship on July with more categories and expect more numbers of participation from all around the world.
