The press conference was attended by President of the Professional Armwrestling League Igor Mazurenko, the head of Professional Armwrestling League Ukraine Olena Kuzmych, as well as athletes who will participate in rating matches within the tournament.

The results of rating armfights will be counted into the Unified Ranking of Professional Armwrestling (URPA) world system. There will be three such fights during the Kyiv Open. Veronika Kozyratska (Ukraine) and Yulia Tochynska (Ukraine), Vladislav Chumichev (Belarus) and Olexander Mishchenko (Ukraine), students of the legendary Andrey Pushkar Igor Pasieka (Ukraine) and Oleg Petrenko (Ukraine) will meet in this fights. Armfight prize pool - $ 3100.

“Ukraine has always been one of the leading countries among amateur armwrestlers, and in the professional arena it is not an exception. The Kyiv Open tournament is a confirmation of this, since it is the only professional event that has become regular and is held for the second time. The high level of organization of the Kyiv Open is an reason for pride and motivation for participants”, - said Igor Mazurenko.

The results of the tournament will also be included in the URPA ranking. Based on them, the participants of the Professional World Cup Zloty Tur, which will be held in December in Poland, will be selected.

Professional armwrestling championships Kyiv Open is a regular sporting event that started this August and is held with the support of the Professional Armwrestling League.
