We asked Dave Chaffe about his opinion on the upcoming second stage of Top-8 Championship. ()
Dave Chaffee was one of the contenders for participation in the Top-8, but for some reason could not join the eight. So before the second stage, we asked Dave what kind of fights and results he expects.
– I am very much looking forward to the Top 8 round 2.
There are two matches in particular I am excited about.
The first being Prudnik versus Laletin. All I can say is Wow. This is the most anticipated match of this round! These two guys have taken it to another level in the past year. A lot of power and technique on the table. Prudnik looked incredible against Babayev and Laletin looked equally as good against Trubin.
I can’t pick a winner in this one and I can’t wait to see it.
The rematch between Tim Bresnan and Rustam Babayev. I know with losses in the first round, both guys are going to bring it. I expect some pins this time and I think Tim will pull out the win.
The other two matches. Kurdecha versus Trubin. I feel Trubin has the advantage with his experience. Alex needs to be really fast on the go if he has a shot. I think eventually Kurdecha will be there but I don't think quite yet. And well the last match. Ongarbaev is a great puller but let's be real. He has a snowball's chance in hell of beating Levan.
Overall the Top-8 has been very exciting and I would have really liked to have pulled this event!
